Laws to remember:

*Energy (Such as high pressure air) cannot be destroyed, it can only be displaced

 *Nature abhors a vacuum

*The simplest things work the best

Natural ventilation directly connects and displaces the high pressure air on the front or sides of a vehicle through a tube to the centrally located low pressure area on the rear of the vehicle. The high pressure air recognizes the inlet of the tube as the low pressure region on the rear of the vehicle and fills the void. The remaining air coming around the rear of the trailer is reduced as a simultaneous increase of base pressure from the tube outlet creates an equalization of pressure that is recognized around the surrounding surfaces of the rear of the vehicle. The vortices associated with drag are eliminated.

Studies indicate that increasing base pressure using natural ventilation can provide significant or total drag reduction provided the outlet vent-flow of the AirChanneler is in close proximity of the separated shear layer boundary flows, i.e.; as close to the centrally located base area on rear the vehicle.

Specifics of the Device:

This method can be manufactured as an integral design into new trailers and as an add-on apparatus or device that can be applied to older trailers.

What Makes The AirChanneler Unique?

This is the only drag reduction device in the world capable of reintroducing drag while braking or slowing down. Using our patented damper to shut off the air vent flow allows for no more than normal operating tempters on the braking components than necessary.

The AirChanneler is simple in design it uses no outside power sources to operate, it can be manufactured and is easy to install at low cost and can be used on almost any vehicle without significant after-market modification. It does not require driver intervention or interfere with normal driving operations or loading dock procedures.

In summery this is an aerodynamic energy conservation design, it is an environmentally friendly, cost effective, more efficient method of reducing drag and saving fuel than any mechanical devices on the market today.
